Program Details

Spend the day exploring our Climate Solutions exhibit or walking among the trees at Wild Walk. This year we are offering private homeschool experiences, events, and activities catered specifically for you. Homeschool families are welcome to participate in private Wild Classroom Workshops, meet our animal ambassadors, and stop by the Naturalist Cabinet for science and art-based activities.

February 14 program details:
ADK Connections: Valentine's Day at The Wild Center

10 am to 4 pm-  Wild Center Valentine’s Day Cards, Family Fish Painting, Junior Naturalist Field Journals in the Naturalist Cabinet

10 am to 4 pm - Indoor Nature Sensory Activities with ADK Riverwalking in the Naturalist Cabinet

1 pm to 2 pm - Outdoor Sensory Snowshoe Walk with ADK Riverwalking, meet in the Great Hall

1 pm to 3 pm - Ice Fishing on Greenleaf Pond
