Program Details

Spend the day exploring our Climate Solutions exhibit or walking among the trees at Wild Walk. This year we are offering private homeschool experiences, events, and activities catered specifically for you. Homeschool families are welcome to participate in private Wild Classroom Workshops, meet our animal ambassadors, and stop by the Naturalist Cabinet for science and art-based activities.

March 27: One, Two, Tree

Experience the transition of the Adirondack seasons with a day dedicated to the science and tradition of the forest. From examining the hidden anatomy of evergreens to touring a functional wood-fired sugar shack, this program invites families to explore how trees prepare for spring through hands-on art, team-building, and participatory science.
