The Wild Center Welcomes Groups!

Whether you are a large family or a bus tour, The Wild Center is happy to have groups of all types visit the museum. We offer special rates to any visiting group larger than 10. From Wild Walk to our river otters to our aquariums filled with native New York fish, there is always something new to see and explore.

We pride ourselves on helping visitors have memorable experiences and this includes touring groups. Whether you are a tour operator looking for a new attraction, a school looking for engaging educational experiences, or a group looking for a place to stop on your trip, The Wild Center is ready to help foster new experiences.

We appreciate your return business and offer tour operators a number of benefits for visiting regularly.

Youth: 5-17 years old, Adult: 18+, Senior: 65+

Know Before You Go

You will be outside and inside -  so please dress for comfort and the season. Remember sunblock in summer and snow boots in winter. We recommend layers as Adirondack weather is full of surprises.

The Wild Center welcomes diverse visitors from all backgrounds and has worked hard to make your time here a respite. We hope you enjoy who and what’s around you safely. To support positive visits, the Center expects the following from all Visitors:

  • Keep Kids Safe. Although we can see the light at the end of the Covid tunnel, many of our youngest visitors are not yet eligible for the vaccine - so we all need to help keep them safe.
  • Maintain a safe physical distance. You must maintain at least 6 feet between your group and the next visitor. Please do not crowd or rush other visitors during your tour, and please do not linger too long holding up the groups behind you.
  • Respect others. Be courteous to those around you in word and deed.
  • Assume good intentions. Should a conflict arise please do not touch or verbally interact with other visitors - child or adult. If you need assistance, ask a Wild Center staff member.
